Ooh la la… I had an invitation to Kuala Lumpur Asian Fashion Week (KLAFW) launch last few days in avenue K. It was early in the morning.. what?! I have to get up at 9 something for this.. duh.. but not to disappoint my upcoming designer friend, he’s almost there I have to obliged besides I love this supposedly glamarama world of fashion. Since my chevy still in the workshop I have to dragged my poor lil bam bam to send me.

Unexpectedly, the experience was kinda unflattering as the venue initially to be held in the convention centre turned out to change the last minute. Luckily enough I called them earlier on my way. Well.. can’t bring in my bam bam since the ticket was only for me it turned out that this new venue was poorly managed. Even any tom, dick or harry can have the front row seats if you dare and they gave me some stupid tag and expect me to find my way own. Wonder what does the seat no. on my tix was for. Following the malaysian time, the show kicked off late… but then again, I’m here to give my friendly support to Andy (Tom Abang Saufi- Homme).

Most of the collections were nice though one particular designer came out with an unwearable, unexplainable design. Poor models have to be paraded in the somewhat freak outfit to me. Well, probably I can’t appreciate his ideas and creativity but I wonder who the hell have the guts to put it on during normal days.. wtf.. I’m unable to take any good snaps as I was seated at the very corner. Hmmm.. i should just plonk on the front row but nah.. dare not to take limelight from the models ha ha. Oh, there were some familiar faces too but i’m not in a friendly mood to say hello. Kinda cranky coz of the early wake up call this morning. pffft… yawn.. zzzzzzzzzzz….

They will continue with a more classy show that night unfortunately Andy can’t spare me the tix. After the experience earlier.. I guess I do not mind it at all.. Haha.. So much for the oooh la laaa….

.:short break disaster:.

what?!!! it was a short get away for us and the 2nd day turned to be a disaster! my chevy baby was badly hit on the left side (wasn’t the fault of yours truly). We were all jolly happy mood and being a lil reckless will costs cha a bomb *sighs* i was shell shocked with mix feelings and i felt that things were like jolting out from my throat, body and confused.. though i thank god that nothing really bad happens to the poor chap. Bam bam comforted me but i guess it meant to happens. Sent chevy baby today for repairs and hope that it will look as good as it was 11 months earlier *finger crossed*.. we kinda like the new bumper and the front lights but changed our mind when we found out it’s another 3 grand.. nah..

Anyway, the short break was great.. weather wasn’t friendly to us though we continue with the barbeque.. forget about jumpin’ in the water. Too cold too handle…

Karaoke was fun and all of us sang the first time among each other haha.. i sang on the top of my lungs actually trying to forget the unfortunate incident. Again I was thinking that, its ok, importantly none of us were hurt.

The best time was catching the crabs with bam bam. It was nice and sweet too *grins*  I found out there are two different types and the one that we can eat are hard to catch. Funny all you need are a scoop (in our case we use the fan cover haha!) and a pail to keep ‘em. The catch of the nite was about 18 lil crabbies. Not bad.. There’s a visit to ostrich farm. Poor all of them look so malnutrition. Never really took care of the place. They are big and smelly too.. Over all i’m happy with glee… Looking forward for the next trip…

what? just a month away!!!! god.. no.. no.. wait.. a minute.. last few days was sittin’ around and consoling my best babe we realized there’s so many things we have gone thru in 2005. Too many interesting things and weird moments too.. There’s series of misfortunate events along the way though we try to forget and move on swiftly as we could.

For instance i’m still unsure with things right now and it makes me really uneasy. This is not typical of me.. just sitting around and wait for a touch of magic to happen. I gotta at least have a direction to start the new year. Yup, starting with a new job.. and open up something that i dream of.. Question: Can somebody or anybody do something sincerely without any return? Answer: Never but only it is asked either directly or indirectly.

Hmmm.. life is tough. Sometimes you can get what you wish for but… god will always put a test on you and make you choose of what you are made of. Being optimistic i always follow my instinct and never regret any choice that i have taken. Yet the tests are more challenging and intriguing… scary but i always thank god for blessing me such opportunity. Need to get the momentum back soon and realizing all the dreams and wishes I have…. So many things in store before I say good bye, adieu to this fulfilling year.. *winks*
